Warranty and Liabilities All complete computer systems and components are entitled to a one (1) year parts and labor warranty unless stated otherwise. Retail boxed products may carry a longer manufacturer's warranty of up to 3-5 years from the purchase date, depending on the product and manufacturer. Memory has a limited lifetime warranty. You may warranty your product with the manufacturer after our initial one (1) year warranty, if your product has an extended manufacturer's warranty. Misuse of our products, as well as Acts of God are not covered under warranty. (That includes: Fire, Lightning, Earthquake, Floods, Snow, etc...) Starfire Computer Solutions recommends that you purchase an APC Backup Battery to protect your electrical equipment in areas where power blackouts or brownouts occur or where you have poor line conditioning, as they can protect your equipment from electrical failure. APC also guarantees their product, and will reimburse you for lost hardware, IF failure occurred with product that was plugged into their power equipment. Starfire Computer Solutions assumes NO responsibility for data loss due to warranty work, or the use or misuse of the products we sell. You are responsible for backing up your data frequently to prevent data loss. RMA's must be shipped back pre-paid to our location. Collect shipments will be refused. You MUST obtain an RMA number prior to shipping your product back to us, or the shipment will be refused. Original, unmarked packaging is required! Defective equipment will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. Starfire Computer Solutions will ship the replaced goods back to you at our expense. Sorry, NO cash refunds! Tampering or misuse of our product may result in voiding the warranty. Starfire Computer Solutions is not responsible for downtime, nor shall in any way be liable for any damage or loss incurred, as a result of servicing a warranty product. We try to warranty product in the least amount of time possible, but we are subject to manufacturer warranty limitations. All shipments are FOB Reno, Nevada. Starfire Computer Solutions is not responsible for damage to, or loss, of goods while in transit to or from your location. It is the customer's responsibility to insure product for shipping. All invoices are due upon receipt, unless NET Terms have been extended to you. All overdue invoices incur a 3% per month finance charge. In case of non-payment, we reserve the right to involve collections or initiate court proceedings. Any fees incurred due to such measures are the clients responsibility. |
